We are proud to announce the relaunch of our popular LIFE Collection polo shirt, featuring a more sustainable, bamboo-rich fabric blend.
Previously made from a cotton-polyester mix, our upgraded polo shirt now utilises a 160gsm knitted pique fabric composed of 60% GRS certified recycled polyester and 40% bamboo, offering a sustainable, high-performance alternative without compromising on durability or comfort. The fabric is treated with Fresche® antimicrobial technology, which helps reduce odours and extends the time between washes.
Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable fibre with excellent absorbency and wicking properties to keep wearers dry and comfortable. It is incredibly soft, making it suitable even for sensitive skin, and its environmental credentials are compelling. Bamboo is fast-growing, requires minimal water and chemicals, and naturally regenerates, helping to reduce the use of fossil-fuel-based synthetic fibres in our supply chain.
Product Highlights:
Sustainably Sourced Materials: Main body made from 60% GRS certified recycled polyester and 40% bamboo.
Soft Collar: Made from 80% bamboo, 13% recycled polyester, and 7% elastane, ensuring comfort against the skin.
Certified Durability: Both the fabric and heat-applied segmented reflective tape are certified to withstand 50 wash cycles.

“With this update, we’ve maintained all the critical safety and performance attributes of our original LIFE Collection polo while significantly enhancing its environmental credentials,” said Hannah Sargent, Product Development Manager at PULSAR®. “It’s a small change with a big impact, demonstrating our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and wearer comfort.”
