PULSAR® Reveals New SDM3 Airgill Face Mask

PULSAR® has revealed a new SDM3 social distancing mask incorporating Viraloff and Odor Crunch.

The AirGill face mask is a modern looking, snug-fitting and low profile face mask that provides additional protection from infection. The masks are treated with Polygiene ViralOff technology, which reduces viruses and bacterias by 99% within a two-hour timespan – meaning the mask stays clean throughout.

Every face mask has three main functions:

  • Captures coughs and sneezes of asymptomatic people

  • Eradicate the risk of inhaling any stray air borne water droplets

  • Prevents auto inoculation which is the process of inadvertently placing your hands in and around your mouth

All three functions are designed to help prevent transmission of viruses, but what happens when the mask itself becomes contaminated?

PULSAR®'s new AirGill masks solves that problem. They are treated with Polygiene ViralOff technology, which is essentially the same as constantly washing your hands. The active ingredient in the mask itself works constantly to reduce the bacteria and virus levels in the masks, which means it will stay clean and free of bacteria and viruses without having to physically wash the masks.

Additionally, Odor Crunch technology is incorporated into the masks, eradicating any bad odours or smells that may develop during the day.

Other key features include the fact that the mask comes in a resealable foil packet to prevent any contamination, 3D shaping across the nose for precise and optimal fit and four-way stretch fabric to minimise any possible air gaps.

The masks also boast water repellent outer wards off any airborne droplets, a dye-cut which means no thick seams and provides long-lasting comfort, and air permeability tight enough to capture coughs and sneezes.

The new product is available in four different colours: Black, Petrol Blue, Ash Grey and Blush, and the ViralOff Technology has been approved by Oeko-Tex, Bluesign, BPR and Reach.
